7 Ways to Wear Your Little Black Dress

March 3, 2012 No Comments »
I’ve posted numerous times about the LBD (Little Black Dress). You see, I live in the LBD. I have the LBD for event planning and execution, and more recently I posted about buying the LBBD (Little Black Business Dress), and I’ve even tackled the “black tie” LBD. But no matter how many LBD’s reside in my closet, it seems I still sometimes stare at them in disbelief thinking, “How in the world do I style this?” You don’t want to go too simple, but you don’t want to look over the top, either. It’s a dilemma we all face.

That’s why I was excited to see Women on the Web bringing us a unique, fashion forward slideshow showcasing “7 Ways to Wear Your Little Black Dress.” My favorite is #6 – add some padding. I have a great black blazer with some pretty severe shoulders – not exactly “shoulder pads”, but some definite shoulder accents. And my absolute favorite way to wear it is over the standard LBD. Check out the rest of the slideshow here.
