If casual Fridays is your favorite day of the week, then this post is for you. On Fridays,  you can throw on your favorite pair of jeans and head to work in your favorite casual look. If you work in a casual environment, you may be used to throwing on a pair of jeans and any top in your closet and heading out the door.

If you’re looking to take your jean style up a notch, try one of these tips on how to wear your jeans to work:

  • Casual Cool: Casual doesn’t have to be boring even with the basics, add a high quality “T” and some chic pumps for a great outfit. Pair this look with a looser fit/baggy jean to bring some edge to the look. Make sure that they are not too loose, if you want to stay stylish.
  • Denim on Denim: Fit is everything for pulling off this look. Don’t be afraid to pair a dark and light denim together. Add a big statement bag to balance the look.
  • Pair with a classic. I regularly pair my classic button downs and blouses with my pencil skirts, but I love mixing up the look with a cool pair of jeans. When I’m feeling really bold, I add a colored heel to complete the look.
  • Mix a print with your skinnys. Can’t find anything to wear with that bold print blouse? Throw it on with your favorite skinny jeans and add a basic black or neutral pump to get a great look.

There is really no wrong way to wear jeans, but when trying to blend with the professional work environment it can be tricky. Find a pair of jeans that are a great quality and perfect fit and incorporate it into your everyday work wardrobe.  When is the last time your wore jeans to work? What did you pair it with?
