You’ve heard the word. You’ve seen people at the gym (mostly men), loading a heavy bar on their shoulders and grunting as they do various versions of the exercise. And you’ve read that squats are a great way to shape your legs and butt.
But do you really know how to do a squat so that it helps your physique and function without hurting your back, knees, or neck? Most people do the squat incorrectly (I have been watching them for years at the various gyms at which I have trained), and it actually makes my body hurt to see what they are doing to theirs.
