Ditch the Dull Bowl of Cereal and Spice Up Your Breakfast

Being time-crunched in the morning doesn’t mean that you have to stick with your same old breakfast routine. For years, before I started consuming mostly raw food, my breakfast routine consisted of a bowl of cereal with milk. However, this left me feeling sluggish instead of energized. Now, I can’t even remember the last time that I ate a bowl of cereal for breakfast. Instead, I switch up my breakfast options with whole, unprocessed food that not only leaves me feeling satisfied, but also full of energy to get through the morning.

If you’re ready to ditch your dull bowl of cereal, try these options instead.

  1. Chopped apple with chia seeds, cinnamon, and almond butter
  2. Sliced banana with almond butter and Acai juice
  3. Homemade trail mix with cinnamon, raisins, sunflower seeds, almonds, and walnuts

The best thing about these options is that they all take less than five minutes to prepare. You can eat healthy and still make it out the door on time!
