I’ve never been someone who stays away from a bold color and try to incorporate it into my wardrobe whenever I can, but nothing exudes such effortless elegance like a great neutral. I honestly think you can never have too many neutrals in your closet. When I refer to neutral, I don’t just mean the black, white, and grey colors, leopard & khaki are also great neutrals. My definition of neutrals are colors/prints that compliment an outfit when paired with almost anything. My leopard print flats are my go-to when I want to add instant chic to a black dress or jeans.

The key to looking effortlessly chic in neutrals is a great fit. Too many times, I’ve seen poorly fitting neutral blazers, or a monochromatic all black looks that are just too big. Wearing neutrals that compliment your body will make you look instantly chic with little effort. When you’re rushing in the morning, just grab that great fitting neutral shift dress and head out the door.
