The one trait that is arguably the strongest predictor of success isn’t what you’d think. It’s not intelligence, creativity, street smarts or good looks. It’s GRIT.

In her short, but powerful TED talk, Angela Lee Duckworth explains what high achievers have that others don’t.

Grit is passion and perseverance for very long-term goals. Grit is having stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day in, day out, not just for the week, not just for the month, but for years, and working really hard to make that future a reality.
