So, I might be rushing it, but I ADORE the fall fashion and beauty season. I basically love the fall season period. You get the cooler weather, richer textures, deeper hues, boots, tights, AND back-to-school supplies!

This is also when fashion retailers cultivate a big chunk of their revenue and (hopefully) profit. They kick off with the back-to-school season and wrap up with the holiday season, which means their beauty brands usually reserve the ‘big hitter’ product launches for this exact season.

And, Fall 2013 is no exception. In fact, it’s one of the best seasons in years! Here are just a few of brands and products hitting the stores:

Lipstick Queen: Poppy King adds to her brand with Velvet Rope, a five-color lipstick collection designed to replicate the fabulous lipstick formulas from forties. According to Women’s Wear Daily,

Hollywood glamour was at its peak in the Forties,” said King. It was a time when women were an equal presence on screen, and were there to be seen as well as heard. Each one of the female film stars in the Forties could match any man in terms of power and wit and look damn good doing it. Look for it hitting stores in September.
