LinkedIn Tip: Photos Matter

I’ve had a number of “blind” meetings in the last few weeks. And a number of these meetings have sparked the following tip: Make sure your LinkedIn photo is recent and actually looks like you.

Imagine walking through a coffee shop looking for a blonde only to find out after asking a number of people if they are, in fact, the person you are waiting that the person you are waiting for is actually a brunette, not a blonde as their LinkedIn photo indicates.

Photos matter, peeps. Update yours today!

    Alot of people don't update their profiles every single day. So not a realistic expectation.

    Good advice, Marcy. So I guess I should use my Facebook picture where I was about 5 years old, huh?
