CGN Recommends: TextHog

I was recently watching a show about “apps” (as in applications for your smart phone) on Saturday and I learned about an absolutely fabulous app.

The site is texthog.com. TextHog is a service that lets you text (or email) your expenses to a specific email and it stores them in your online account, to give you an accurate account for your monthly budgeting. So, if you run to Jimmy John’s for lunch, you’d text, “Lunch, $8.00″ and it will keep track of your expenses.

Then, you can see all sorts of reports about how much you’re spending on what, when, and where. It’s fantastic. And for this girl, who’s trying to keep expenses down, it’s enlightening!

So check it out – www.texthog.com
