Free Week of Yoga for National Yoga Month
In life, there’s always a reason to celebrate – and in September, it’s National Yoga Month, a national observance designated by the Department of Health & Human Services to inspire a healthy lifestyle and educate us about the health benefits of yoga. So if you wanted to start adding more downward dogs into your daily life, or to work on perfecting your headstands, now is the best time for it.
To celebrate National Yoga Month, over 2,200 participating yoga studios nationwide are offering one week of free yoga in the month of September. This grassroots awareness campaign is designed to build awareness of yoga’s proven physical and emotional benefits and provide people with the guidance and tools to enhance their personal well-being.
National Yoga Month’s One Week of Free Yoga is something you definitely want to take advantage of. It will allow you to be introduced to a variety of different studios, new teachers, and various styles of yoga so you can identify what works best for you and your life, whether you are new to yoga or a regularly practicing yogi.
It’s free, easy to participate in, and hopefully inspires you to live a healthier life.
Registration is open so follow these steps to get started:
- Go to the Yoga Month website
- Start by selecting a participating yoga studio in your area (you must be a new student at the studio you select)
- Print your Yoga Month Card, which will include your name, the studio contact information, and Yoga Month special offers
- Visit your selected studio
