No matter your political affiliation, whether you agree or disagree with the policies of any President current or past, the President of the United States of America deserves a great deal of respect. Today being President’s Day, we here at Carer Girl Network wondered if we should comment. After all, there’s never been a “Career Girl” President. But there have been many, many Presidents who have affected the lives of women and girls in this nation. From women’s suffrage to reproductive rights to domestic violence protections and much much more, no matter your side of the aisle, you can appreciate the work Presidents often do for our gender.

We found this great infographic from a designer on Visual.ly and wanted to share it with all of you. Did you know how the President’s Day Holiday came to be? Now you do! Let’s hope another section can soon be added to this infographic about a female in the White House!
