How a Moment Can Change Your Life

March 9, 2012 No Comments »
Our life is made up of moments – strings of moments that can delight us, frighten us, and empower us. Can you look back on your life and pinpoint the moments in your life that are the most important? I’m sure we can all point to a few. There are certain moments, literally seconds in our lives, that we can point to and say, “That was the moment I became something else.” To quote the opening credits of Dr. Phil, “This…will be a changing day in your life.”

It may not be directly related to women in business, but I simply had to share Ric Elias’ TED talk. Ric was one of the individuals on the fateful Hudson River miracle landing. He tells us how that moment, that instant, changed his life. And while I hope none of us are ever in that situation (at least not without Captain Sully), I hope this video will resonate with you as much as it did for me.
