Slideshare: What Is It and How Can You Use It?
Every now and again, a new “social network” or “business tool” comes up that we think, “What’s that for?” I had this experience with Instagram a while back and wrote about it, and have recently had the same experience with the new (sadly, it’s not even that new) service, SlideShare. Whether you’ve heard about or haven’t heard about SlideShare, sit up and take notice. They are HOT!
What is SlideShare?
From their website: SlideShare is the world’s largest community for sharing presentations. With 60 million monthly visitors and 130 million pageviews, it is amongst the most visited 200 websites in the world. Besides presentations, SlideShare also supports documents, PDFs, videos and webinars.
Blah blah blah, right? Ok, so why would you want to share slides? Why would you want to view slides? Why do you need PDFs and webinars and documents? Here’s why:
