Teacher’s Pet? Boss’ Pet?

Y’know that kid in school, the one who bought the teacher perfume for Christmas and volunteered to clean the white boards after class? The teacher’s pet. We all hated that kid. And it’s pretty safe to say, we hate the “boss’ pet” too. But just like that kid kissed up to the teacher, kissing up to your boss might just be the thing that gets you ahead in your office. MSNBC shows how favoritism is still running rampant in the workplace. Maybe kindergarten and the C-suite aren’t so different after all?
