What’s Your Skin Eating? [Infographic]
I feel a green ‘phase’ coming on again.
For someone who considers herself ‘a healthy’ person, I consume (and apply) a lot of junk! On one hand, I strive to maintain my health (and weight — who am I kidding?) by exercising regularly. I work-out 3-4 times a week and ride my bike everywhere, which elicits comments like You’re so good!
I take scads of vitamins and supplements, I try to avoid refined sugar, and GOD FORBID I eat a whole bagel because they’re loaded with carbs and gluten and CARBS! (The devil incarnate!)
On the other hand, I drink obscene amounts of Diet Pepsi, survive on various forms of protein bars, and slap ANYTHING on my skin that promises a younger, fresher, smoother, firmer appearance with no questions asked.
In a phrase: I am a supreme hypocrite.
Hence, it’s time for me to clean up my act…again. If any of you find yourself in a similar situation, take a gander at some of these (scary) stats and join me in my effort to green things up a bit!
