Texas State Senator Wendy Davis, and the Unforgettable Filibuster

In case you missed it with all of the DOMA action that occurred this week, Texas State Senator Wendy Davis (D) staged an 11 hour Filibuster to defeat an abortion bill that was attempting to be turned into a law.

Despite being cut off multiple times by her peers, Wendy continued to forge on and fight for her cause, literally speaking until she had successfully won the battle she was fighting.
